On Saturday, Piyush Goyal confidently predicts that the US & India Trade will reach $500-$600 Billion US Dollars by 2030.
If we talk about the current trade situation so it is around $175 Billion US Dollars. Their trade relationship is getting strengthen day by day.
He further added that the US is seeing India be their friend and trade partner in the Indo-pacific region.
According to the India Import Export Data, it will depend on India whether join the trade pillar of the 14-member Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) or not it totally depends upon what India got in return
in terms of data, the 14 (IPEF) partners represent an overall GDP of around 40% and around 28% global goods & service trade.
The 14 members are the US, Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
He further stated that the Country is consulting with the stakeholders about this agreement.
